Lee Liquid Alox bullet Lube

Test The Assertion

Mixed cases are less accurate than matched cases

Every one knows that loads assembled in matched cases are more accurate than loads assembled in cases with mixed head stamps.

But?  - Is it true?

Test Load:
Cartridge .38 Special
Bullet Lee 356-124 TC ( Tumble Lube )
Alloy Air Cooled Wheel Weights
BNH 12-14
Sized .356
Lube Lee Liquid Alox
Powder Bulls Eye
Charge 3.0 gr Thrown
Primer CCI 500
Dies RCBS Carbide 3 die set
OAL 1.460"
Crimp Light roll into top lube ring

Case Comments:

Wadcutter cases are L&B .38 Special Wadcutter cases from the same original factory box. They have been loaded five times and trimmed to length 1.138. The original factory ammo produces groups averaging about 1"

Mixed commercial cases were mixed cases I have owned for over 30 years and have been fired somewhere between ten and 30 times each. None of them have ever been trimmed.
